Design process
The project was initiated by the Mobile Product Team based on user research findings.
What problem or opportunity did they identify? The team recognised that hosts often struggled to quickly share booking details and pricing with potential guests. This lack of efficiency led to delays in decision-making, higher abandonment rates, and added effort for hosts.
Why was this worth exploring?Solving this problem would:
- Enable faster communication between hosts and guests.
- Provide a smoother booking process for both parties.
- Increase booking completion rates by reducing abandonment.
- Improve the overall experience for users of the mobile app.
